Equivalent to B2 Level (Vantage)
The examination is for learners from 16 years old who possess a very good knowledge of German and can express their views on any topic spontaneously, with good fluency and in detail. The B2 Mittelstufe Deutsch is recognized by Austrian universities as a proof of sufficient German language ability necessary for enrollment.
The equivalent German exams are: Goethe Zertifikat B2, Zertifikat Deutsch Plus, Zertifikat Deutsch für den Beruf. The equivalent English exam is FCE (First Certificate in English).

Tips: You could take the exam B2 at Goethe Institut in Jakarta/Bandung, or you'll take  B2 ÖSD (Östereichisches Sprachdiplom Deutsch) in Austria for about 45 Euros (only for the test). It is better if you've completed  minimal A2 or B1 Level course at Goethe Institut Indonesia, before you enter Austria, because it will save your Budget, and you can start to learn B1/B2 Level in Austria.
